Dr Jill Gamberg

Jill grew up in Canada with 3 sisters. She was an athlete – a rhythmic gymnast – and spent most of her youth training and competing.
She went to University and completed Bachelor degrees in Biology and Exercise Science/Athletic Therapy.
She went on to become a Certified Canadian Athletic Therapist.
She worked as an Athletic Therapist for the Canadian Olympic Judo Team, as well as a personal trainer and mat pilates instructor.
After working for a few years, Jill went backpacking around the world for 2 years and has been to over 50 countries.
She decided to apply to medical school in Sydney, Australia and graduated with Honours from the University of New South Wales to become Dr Jill Gamberg.
She decided to become a General Practitioner as that provided her with the greatest scope of practice.
During her fellowship training she was lucky enough to have two beautiful daughters.
Most recently she completed the International Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine. She became one of the first Australian Lifestyle Medicine Physicians.
Dr Jill's goal is to help prevent disease and maintain wellness with evidence-based practice, and to passionately improve health literacy.
